Remembrances of the past

I saw this today and it made me remember back in Junior High. I do not like the language, but it is very nostalgic.

Sometimes I feel our tennis matches were just like this.

In other news, we just finished filming out latest episode. We have been told that we will be doing a movie here very soon. I think we will be getting the scripts. Start looking for coming attractions.

I wonder if I can take Akaya Danke. Yes, please.

Hard courts have always been kind to me.I wonder if they let people play on it before or after the tournaments. I would like to say I played at the US Open, even if it is just the court.

I have enough tickets spare. Up to you to persuade him though. Sure, that's sent.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that the courts are open for private use when the tournament isn't in play. But not the Arthur Ashe stadium, that's used for the final, I'm afraid. All of the other courts are open for public use. Next time you're in America that isn't during the US Open month and I'll come with you and we can play a set there.

I wonder how I can ask him Danke.

I want to try to play there, at least once. Maybe I can have Akaya play against me. Though I still want to play against you.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-07-15 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
Just ask him, he'll hardly refuse especially from you.

Hmm, Akaya and you playing, sounds like a match I want to see. And yes, I've not forgotten about our match waiting in the wings. It'll happen ^_^

You really think so?

When we play, we have a lot of fun now. It is really nice and I wish it would have always been this way. I will get stronger before you face me.

I know it. You two are the best of friends and when he gets a clue, he'll realize that you could be more.

Of course. Take your time to prepare. ^_^

more...than....I...I wish If you think so

I will not disappoint you

I know so. Call it captain's intuition ^_^

Of course you won't.

[identity profile] not-the-habu.livejournal.com 2013-07-15 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
My captain never had very good intuition. Sergei was better at that.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-07-15 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Your captain was malfunctioning. You should have exchanged him for a new one. All captains have it. Just ask Atobe, Tachibana and Shiraishi.

Hayashi Shinya was my captain at Negoya. He was one of the few that did not get replaced by one of us exchange students.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-07-16 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Then he deserved to be replaced if he was lacking . He was the one that Genichirou played in the semis?

[identity profile] not-the-habu.livejournal.com 2013-07-17 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
No. He sat out for Semis. Only the exchange students played at the semis. Because they did poorly, the coach replaced them all with us. Then we did poorly and most of us were forced to go back home because we had outlived our usefulness to the school.

The one Sanada played was Sergei Mihajlovic Mikhailov.

Sergei would have been a better captain. He always took very good care of me.

I wish I could say that I was sorry about Nagoya Seitoku's defeat, but I'm not and I wasn't. I am, however, disgusted by your coach's attitude. It's perhaps worse than the Higa coach's attitude, and that's saying something.

I see. Well, if you think so.

(ooc: Yukimura doesn't remember players that aren't challenges. So he's sorry for getting Sergei and the bad captain mixed up, but really doesn't give a damn.)

As I would not have been sorry if we would have beat you. One team must lose for the other to win, yes? I do know know about their coach, just that we were brought to Japan for our tennis and when our tennis was not useful to them anymore, we had no more business being in the country.

He took care of me after the match with Akaya. The real captain did not care.

Sometimes, I wish I could have exchanged with a different school, but everyone was already with very strong teams...so...I would have sat bench

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-07-18 03:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, that sounds about right. And the Higa coach stole the Higans way home. They had to walk back to Higa because he abandoned them after they lost. At least yours sent you back home, even if it was in an entirely inappropriate manner.

You shouldn't place yourself down like that, you know. Having strong reserve players is something that a team needs and reserves are almost always called into play, especially with tennis. Even if you were "sitting bench" as a reserve, you were a first year, when I was a third year. Had you been on the other teams, you would have been a regular instantaneously in your second and third year, and you would have had the benefit of our crazy training.

Now I almost wish that you had been on Rikkai.

I got to stay because of the U17 invite. And I am glad I could because I got to see an angel.

I am sorry. You are right. And I almost wish that as well

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-07-19 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that was a good opportunity for you. For everybody really. It improved a lot of our basic skills.

But, we mustn't dwell on what-could-have-beens. What matters is, that we know you now ^_^
