The set sweetheart

traumprinzenBecause of his previous so called owners, Minoru gets very stressed out when he is by himself for too long. I have been taking him to the set with me. Everyone seems to really love him. To keep him at a good weight and not put too much stress on his body, I have forbidden treats for him unless they come from me, however they are more than welcome to pet and play with him. He is adored. He has sort of become the set mascot. He loves the attention.
Today though, he was really really amazing. We were doing filming of a fight scene on set today between myself and the Star Ranger team. Normally, Minoru is moved to the dressing room for fights. But for today, he was not because he kept whining. (I cannot tell him no when he does that) They were about to attack, I saw this streak and he was right there between the four rangers and myself. He was barking up a storm and would not let them near me. I had to promise they were not hurting me. He then stayed close and when it was done, he rushed back to me and licked me all over the face to make sure I was all right like I promised I was.
He really protected me today, wheels and all. And maybe that will end up on the DVDs as a special outtake. The powerful Daemon Prince Tous protected by a wheeled dachshund and the Star Rangers cowering in fear.
