Watching the Open

I feel nostalgic. It was only a few years ago that I was at the French Open. I still remember the feel of the court under my feet and the eyes of the world upon me! I remember the feel of the ball as it hit my racket. I remember the cheers. I remember all of that and I miss it. I had so much fun.

I never went to Australia. I am no longer a professional, but I still watch each match and wonder how I would measure up against them all. But I think my agent will be forbidding me from watching the rest. He says I will get wrinkles and ruin my looks sighing like that. He says I must be at my most beautiful because the Valentine's Shoots are us. He says if I do this, then he will talk to a director for me about a part in a drama.

He says this every time. I think I need to talk to Herr Atobe. I need a change, or at least an agent that will let me watch tennis.

They do have some nerve! I gave up tennis for modeling. This shows I should have stayed

I can't stop looking the way I do. ICanhowever get someone who cares more for what I like and less about what I can earn for them

Guess all we can do is watch while they make fools of themselves. Couldn't you have, er, modeled and played tennis at the same time?

They seem to be very good at that, at least. You and I both know that we can get a little spirited out there. When I was scouted, I had to sign a contract promising I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my face...

I know he can. I'm fortunate that Herr Atobe picked me up. He is a good man and a great boss.

Yeah, I know. What a lame contract. By the way, if you miss a match or want to watch any of them again, coach has a record of the games. I can ask him to make a copy for you.

Herr Atobe is an idiot but yeah he should know what to do about that at least.

To a model, a face is their livelihood. At least that is what I was told at the time. I was still young and naive when I sighed that. But I would like that. There is a German player I'm interested in. He gave me a run for my money on the European circuit.

Well, until you can get a new agent or reach the end of your contract, I guess there's no tennis for you then. But which German player?

Sadly, this is true. The only German there. Philipp Kohlschreiber. He has won six doubles and four singles titles since he became a pro. He's 17th seed... He plays in the 3rd round...today

Heh. I don't think I've played him ever. We'll watch him closely for you. He's up against Milos, though. Let's see if he'll get to the next round.

Ha. Will do. Just be sure to have enough practice before going up against me. I'd like to have a warm up, at least.

XDD Somewhere in the beginning of U17 arc, I remember a scene where Ryoma was still up, as was Liliadent and they were speaking in English and he did call him Ryoma (if my photo memory isn't as flawed as the usual), which, as you said, is logical due to his nationality. Ryoma isn't that touchy with his name anyway since he grew up in the US and had to get used to hearing his first name all the time. Yeah, I blab. orz]
